  Artists: Rebekah Steele, Sophia Reeves & Samantha Guzzi    
 

This exhibition features the artwork of Cohort 17 from the Master of Fine Arts program at Azusa Pacific University. These three multimedia artists come together with the common theme of finding holy moments
amidst ordinary places, routines, and memories.


Ranging from abstract graphite and painted color fields, documentary photography of neighbors and postcards from friends, to portraits of coffee mugs, punks and religious icons–the show houses a generous
array of subjects and media.


There is a contemplative and grounding quality to their practice, as each artist engages their work for the sake of personal and communal meaning-making. Through attentive living, the artists uniquely bear witness to sacred presence in unexpected spaces and states of the heart.
